CHALLENGE:

COMPLEX FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Take complex financial information explaining small business retirement plan options and deliver the concepts in an engaging, clear,  animated video for the general public while keeping  true to Fidelity’s brand.

SOLUTION:

ANIMATED STORY

The client and I decided the three case studies of individual business owners retirement plan options could be explained with an animated story.  The animation was built around a 3D town where we visit the 3 business and explain each financial solution with charts and diagrams projected on store fronts and billboards.

CHALLENGE:

SHORT TURN AROUND, HIGH-IMPACT

Pearson approached me on a Thursday needing an open and 6 bumps due on the following Monday. The only direction given was that it should be high energy and have a Hollywood connection.

SOLUTION:

MODULAR PLAN

Given little time and a limited budget we decided to create a montage of footage and stills overlaid with the type forms from the  title block.  I hired VO  talent with a “big Hollywood” voice for the copy and found a music track that further added to the high energy the client was looking for. Being built in a modular manner allowed for a diversity of videos without added expense.

RESULTS:

A high impact open to introduce the virtual sales meeting across the globe. Six videos to cary the energy throughout the proceeding days. A very happy client.

Interpret several spiritual metaphors for (NY Times bestselling author) Dr Wayne Dyer’s into a cohesive visual package for the high profile PBS show, “I Can See Clearly Now.”

SOLUTION:

UNIFYING ELEMENT

After multiple approaches were tried to interpret the concept of viewing one’s life from a positive perspective , the unifying element became a colorful tapestry texture woven into the animation of rolling hills and ladders representing the stages of life.

RESULTS:

“A BRILLIANT JOB”

Dr. Dyer felt that the graphic design captured the exact idea he was describing, was touched that the graphic package so closely supported his teachings. PBS continues to have high ratings with these pledge fund programs.
