Fidelity Investments: Digital Design

Fidelity Investments asked me to develop several animations that helped explain complex financial concepts and information data points.

Problem:

Explain complex financial concepts to the general public.

Solution:

My solution was to build tangible narratives around the data points while keeping the viewer engaged and informed. The narratives I created centered on story lines of traveling through a small city, board game, or office, where each of the situations that play out, billboards, buildings, white boards, and phone screens lend themselves to surfaces for the financial information. This approach was successful,  the client was pleased, and I got the green light to build two more.

The next three videos are more Fidelity work, in this case storyboards were provided. The last video is a composite of animated charts where I was given data from several different PowerPoint slides and asked to produce a visual standard for the information. In many cases greatly improving the data visualization.
