Warrior Spirit: Set Design, Show Graphics

Western New York’s Public Broadcast Association asked me to develop the set design and show graphics for D.J. Eagle Bear Vanas, an internationally renowned motivational speaker and author: 

Problem:

Create the core concepts and visual support for D.J.’s use of Native American warrior spirit principles that inspires individuals to meet everyday challenges and serve others.

Solution:

Design a set that places D.J. in a natural Ottawa Tribe setting, complete with birch trees, mossy dirt, leaves, rocks, and a real tribal canoe. Develop a series of bold modern day icons supporting D. J.’s core concepts and integrate them into colorful tribal blankets used as the set’s backdrop. These graphic icons used throughout the set and programing represent his Ottawa Tribe’s tribal wisdom meeting today’s life challenges.
